Nowhere will you find the value that hsa Trustee Services offers when setting up your HSA. Not only will you have no monthly, annual or hidden fees, but you will receive your own Discount Prescription Drug Card. This card alone is worth the set-up fee, and will save you 12% to 45% on your prescription costs. Some drug cards sell for as much as $60 a year, but this benefit is included when you open your HSA using hsa Trustee Services. Your discount drug card is accepted at more than 57,000 participating pharmacies nationwide. This is not an insurance plan.
Q. Why is this important? I have a co-pay drug card with my insurance.
A: The U.S. Department of the Treasury has recently stated that those with a health insurance plan that is in all other respects HSA compatible, except that it provides prescription drug coverage below the deductible, can have an HSA until 1/1/2006. This is how the U.S. Department of Treasury's media release described this recent Treasury ruling 3: ( In English, this means all drug benefits must be written out of High Deductible Health Plan/HDHP by 1/01/06 for the plan to continue to qualify as an HSA type plan.)
hsa Trustee Services has a one-time initial set-up fee of $25. There are no monthly, or annual fees. If you need a quote for a group plan, email hsainfo@hsatrusteeservices.com with the group size, we will be happy to help you set it up.

Here is an example from one of our customers of drug card savings: "My wife had some minor surgery and the doctor gave her a prescription. I took it to Walgreen's, and when I went to pick it up, I gave them the discount card. So instead of $18.75, they re-priced it after I gave them the card and it was $13.75, a savings of 27%. Thank you for the added savings!"
