My husband and I researched over 20 HSA providers and have decided to open an account with HSA Trustee Services. There were five main differences that made HSA Trustee Services stand out among the rest:
*No annual or monthly service charges-this means more funds for medical needs.
*Even though there are no monthly or annual service charges the money is still placed in an interest bearing account. Although we found one other company that did not have annual or monthly fees, it did not have a comparable interest rate.
*Unlimited withdrawals-some companies charge after one withdrawal a month
*Clear, easy to understand forms
*Discount Prescription Drug Card-I checked this out to see if any of my local pharmacies accepted this card. I called two and both accept it. This could mean a tremendous savings for our family of six.

As far as the HSA goes, hsa Trustee Services set it up and it is functioning beautifully. There haven't been any 'surprise' charges show up on the monthly statement. It really does seem to be free. [Plus, it pays interest. Thanks again for recommending them.] The [almost] best part is that when we have had medical expenses [my son broke his hand in December], the money has already been saved, so I can just write the checks.
Overall, it's working great.
